General Guidelines
- Our Right to Refuse: GifterStop reserves the right to decline any order if needed.
- Legal Matters: Any disagreements or claims will be handled under the laws of India, and any legal proceedings will be subject to the jurisdiction of competent courts in India, including those in Gurugram, Haryana.
Shipping & Delivery Details (India)
Understanding Your Delivery:
- Flower Stages: Flowers might arrive in different stages of bloom (bud, semi-bloomed, or fully open) to ensure freshness and based on availability.
- Order Cut-off Times (IST):
- Same-Day Standard Delivery: Order by 6:00 PM.
- Same-Day Fixed-Time Delivery: Order by 6:30 PM.
- Same-Day Midnight Delivery: Order by 7:00 PM.
- Delivery Areas: GifterStop delivers across various cities and regions in India. You can confirm delivery availability for your specific location on our website during the order process.
- Delivery Time Estimates: The delivery time you request is an estimate and not guaranteed. The actual delivery time depends on product availability and your delivery address.
- Possible Delays: Delivery might take longer due to:
- Bad weather conditions
- Political disruptions or strikes
- Other unforeseen circumstances in such situations, we will proactively inform you. Please check your emails and SMS regularly for updates.
- Ordering for Major Occasions: For important dates like festivals or holidays, we highly recommend placing your order at least five days in advance to ensure timely delivery.
- Hand-Delivered vs. Courier Items: Products delivered directly by our partner stores (like fresh flowers or cakes) cannot be delivered together with items sent by courier services.
What Happens If Delivery Isn't Possible (Hand-Delivered Items):
- One Attempt for Perishables: For fresh items like cakes and flowers, our partner will attempt delivery only once.
- Order Considered Delivered If: If delivery isn't successful during this attempt due to reasons outside GifterStop's control, you will still be charged, and we cannot offer a re-delivery or refund. Your order will be considered delivered in these cases:
- The delivery address provided was incorrect.
- The recipient wasn't available.
- The delivery premises were locked.
- The recipient refused to accept the delivery.
- Alternative Delivery (If Recipient is Unavailable): If the recipient isn't available, they can ask the delivery person to leave the order at the gate, reception, or with a neighbor.
- Proof of Delivery: We can provide proof of delivery if there's a dispute regarding whether an item was delivered.
- Sunday & Public Holiday Deliveries: Items delivered directly by our partner stores can be delivered on Sundays and most public holidays.
- If No One Is Home: If no one is available to accept your order at the delivery address when our partner attempts delivery, your order won't be considered late. In such cases, we cannot offer refunds, cancellations, or accept liability. However, our partner will try their best to:
- Call the recipient to arrange a suitable delivery time.
- Leave a note asking the recipient to contact the store for delivery.
- Leave the package in a safe, covered spot (like a porch or garage).
- Leave the package with a neighbor and leave a note for the recipient with this information.
Specific Hand Delivery Timelines:
- Midnight Deliveries: Your order will arrive between 11:00 PM and 12:30 AM on the chosen delivery date, subject to other delivery terms.
- Fixed-Time Deliveries: We can't guarantee an exact minute, but your order will arrive within 30 minutes before or after your selected time, subject to other delivery terms.
Delivery of Courier Products
For items shipped by courier, GifterStop facilitates the order, but the actual delivery is handled by third-party courier services (like Blue Dart or others). Their own terms and conditions apply to the delivery process.
- Estimated Delivery: For courier deliveries, the delivery date is an estimate. Your order might arrive slightly before or after your chosen date. The requested delivery date for courier items is not guaranteed, as it depends on product availability and the shipping destination.
- No Prior Calls: Courier partners usually don't call prior to delivery. Please ensure someone is available at the shipping address to receive the package.
- No Redirections: Deliveries cannot be redirected to a different address once shipped.
- Non-Delivery Days: Third-party courier services do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays.
- Tracking Your Order: All courier orders are carefully packed and shipped from our partners' designated warehouses. Once dispatched, you'll receive a tracking number to follow your order's journey.
- Delays: Courier services may experience delays due to unforeseen circumstances, holidays, or strikes.
- Multiple Attempts & Charges: If the recipient is unavailable, or if the delivery address is incorrect, or if the recipient refuses the package, the courier company will attempt delivery twice. If both attempts fail, the package will return to the origin, and you will still be charged for the order.
- Order Considered Delivered (Courier): A courier order will be considered successfully delivered if:
- The shipping address is incorrect.
- The recipient is not available.
- The premises are locked.
- The recipient refuses to accept the delivery.
- The recipient asks the delivery person to leave the order at the gate, reception, or with a neighbor.
Special Delivery Locations
Our partner florists and gift stores are experienced in delivering to various specific locations, but please note the following:
- Hospitals: We will send your order according to hospital procedures, as most do not allow delivery directly to individual rooms. Please check with the hospital if ICU patients are allowed flowers before ordering. When ordering, please include: Hospital name, full address, phone number, recipient's name, room/ward number.
- Hotels: Please provide: Hotel name, full address, recipient's phone number and hotel phone number, recipient's name, room number, and name of Tour Company (if applicable). If the recipient has not checked in or has checked out by the delivery date, the order will be left at the reception and considered delivered. No refunds will be made in such cases.
- Wedding Halls/Marriages: We cannot guarantee direct delivery to the bride and groom. However, we will ensure the delivery is made to a responsible member of the host party.
- Hostels/PG/Cantonment/Enclosed Premises: Please provide: Hostel/premises name, full address, recipient's phone number and hostel/premises phone number, recipient's name, room number. The recipient may need to collect the delivery at the gate, or the order might be left with security, reception, or another responsible person, and considered delivered.
- Restricted Locations: We do not deliver to railway stations, Metro stations, or airports.
Delivery to Remote Locations and Towns (India)
- Serviceable Areas: Delivery is available only in our serviceable cities and towns listed on our website.
- Fresh Product Sourcing: For fresh items like flowers and cakes, our partner stores in the delivery area will prepare your order.
- No Exact Time: We cannot guarantee an exact delivery time for these locations.
- Essential Contact Info: A correct address and contact number for the recipient are a must for placing the order.
- National Holidays: No deliveries will be made on National Holidays. Delivery will be rescheduled for the next working day.
- Unforeseen Circumstances: In cases of unforeseen circumstances (like floods, heavy rains, strikes, curfews, traffic jams, festival times, regulated traffic movements, or any other impediments that may restrict delivery), GifterStop reserves the right to reschedule delivery to another date.
- Single Attempt for Fresh Items: For fresh items, delivery will be attempted only once at the address provided. If delivery isn't successful due to any reason not caused by GifterStop, you will still be charged, and no re-delivery or refund will be possible. The order will be considered delivered if:
- Delivery isn't done due to a wrong address.
- Recipient isn't available.
- Premises are locked.
- Wrong/incorrect phone number / not working / no reply / not connecting / not reachable.
- Recipient refused the products.
- Product was delivered at the Gate/Reception/Neighbourhood.
International Deliveries
- Flower Stages: Internationally, flowers might arrive in bud, semi-bloomed, or fully open stages.
- Delivery Window: Deliveries are typically made between 10:00 AM and 6:00 PM in the destination country's local time, subject to their specific terms.
- Possible Delays: Delivery may take longer due to:
- Bad weather
- Political disruptions
- Other unexpected events
- Major Occasions: For major occasions, please place your international order at least five days in advance.
- Hand-Delivered vs. Courier: Items delivered directly by our international partner stores cannot be combined with items sent by courier services.
- Single Attempt for Perishables: For perishable items internationally, we attempt delivery only once. If unsuccessful due to incorrect address, recipient unavailability/refusal, or locked premises, you will be charged, and no re-delivery or refund will be possible.
International Courier Products:
- Estimated Delivery: For international items shipped by courier, the delivery date is an estimate. Your order might arrive slightly before or after your chosen date. The requested delivery date is not guaranteed.
- No Prior Calls: Our international courier partners usually don't call prior to delivery. Please ensure someone is available at the shipping address.
- No Redirections: Deliveries cannot be redirected to a different address.
- Non-Delivery Days: Courier services do not deliver on Sundays or public holidays in the destination country. Please note specific country holidays (e.g., Fridays in UAE and other Islamic countries).
- Tracking: Once dispatched from our partners' international warehouses, you will receive a tracking number.
- Delays: Delays can occur due to holidays or strikes in the destination country.
- Multiple Attempts & Charges: If the recipient is unavailable, address is incorrect, or refusal occurs, the courier will attempt delivery twice. If both attempts fail, the package returns, and you will be charged for the order.
- Order Considered Delivered: An international courier order will be considered successfully delivered if:
- The shipping address is incorrect.
- The recipient is not available.
- The premises are locked.
- The recipient refuses to accept the delivery.
- In residential areas, the order is left at the door, post box, or with a neighbor, or a note is left to pick up the order from a local hub.
- In business addresses, the order is left at the reception.
Peak Season / Major Occasions Disclaimer
During periods of high demand, such as major festivals or holidays, please note the following:
- Price Changes: Prices may change without prior notice due to high demand. We strongly recommend pre-booking your orders to secure attractive rates.
- Accurate Information: To help us service your orders best during busy times, please ensure you provide the correct address and contact details (phone number and email address) of the recipient.
- Recipient Contact: If you prefer us not to contact the recipient directly during peak times, please call our Customer Care team and notify them.
- Delayed Updates: Due to a huge rush in orders, delivery status confirmations via email and SMS may arrive a little later. Our team works hard to update you as soon as possible.
- Customer Care Response Time: Our Customer Care team works diligently to ensure a great experience, but during peak season, response times may be slightly longer. Please be patient; if you've sent an email, it will be reviewed and answered.
- Substitution Policy: Please be aware of our separate Substitution Policy (which you'll need to create).
- Delivery Guarantees (Peak Season):
- Standard Delivery: While we aim for fast delivery, we cannot offer any fixed time guarantee due to high volume. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis, considering delivery areas and other conditions.
- Midnight Delivery: Orders will be delivered within a specific window (e.g., 11:00 PM to 1:00 AM).
- Courier Services: For products shipped by courier, we are unable to guarantee an exact date or time of delivery during peak season. Your product might arrive slightly before or after your chosen date.
- International Services: Please allow 1-2 extra working days for updates due to time zone differences and peak volume.
